The Ohio State men's lacrosse team held its first full fallball
practice Monday morning. The squad, which reported Sept. 19, will
practice for the next four weeks as it prepares for the 2011
campaign, the third under head coach Nick Myers. Click the links
above for photos from practice Monday morning, as well as audio
from Myers and seniors Jarred Bowman and Scott Gerland.
The team was joined by special guests out at practice Monday. JJ
Snider, a fourth grader, has been adopted by the Buckeye family
through the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation, a non-profit, charitable
organization formed in 2005 that improves the quality of life for
children with pediatric brain tumors and their families. JJ and his
family - his parents Jodi and Mike, sisters Mary and Joanna and
brothers Rudy and Michael - spent time out at the field as JJ met
the whole Buckeye squad for the first time. He now has his own
lacrosse stick and put it to use quickly, as he and his brothers
and sisters spent much of their time out at the field playing with
lacrosse sticks borrowed from the Buckeye players.

a message in his guestbook, visit http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/jjsnider.
