Hobart Lacrosse raising funds for Navy SEAL Warrior Fund

The Hobart lacrosse team, through their community service group
Hobart Lacrosse Helpers, is selling t-shirts to raise money for the
Navy
SEAL Warrior Fund. The long sleeve tees can be purchased for
$20 between 11:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. in the Scandling Center or at
the Hobart-Air Force lacrosse game on Sat., May 1.
Inspired by Hockey Helpers, a national service organization for
collegiate hockey players founded by Hobart alum Ryan Adler
'09, Hobart Lacrosse Helpers have embraced the Navy SEAL
Warrior Fund, a non-profit organization that supports the widows
and children of U.S. Navy SEALs killed or injured in combat or
training, assists wounded SEALs, and provides support to the active
duty SEALs who are away from home answering the call of duty, and
their families back home.
Sophomore midfielder Matt
Campbell has led the Hobart Lacrosse Helpers efforts on
behalf of the Navy SEAL Warrior Fund. A representative of the
organization will be recognized prior to the start of Saturday's
game as will U.S. military veterans. The Geneva American Legion
Post's Doughboys will present the colors prior to the National
Anthem.
The Statesmen and Falcons will face off at 7:07 p.m. at McCooey
Field. The game will be televised live by Time Warner Cable Sports.
