Inside Lacrosse Video Profiles Loyola Men's Lacrosse Trip To Europe
Greyhounds Visited Four Countries In Europe In May-June
BALTIMORE - After taking its game overseas to four European countries, the Loyola men's lacrosse team now has footage of the historic trip, as Inside Lacrosse posted a nearly eight-minute video blog on their Web site.
The video blog was narrated and shot by, among others, Shane Koppens and Jake Hagelin, and details the team's trip to Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland at the end of May and early June. It was edited and produced by Inside Lacrosse's Joe Sweeney.
Among many other stops, the team visited the Edinburgh Castle in Scotland, St. Albert's Dock in Liverpool, Old Trafford, the futbol stadium for Manchester United, and the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, Ireland. While away, the team played five matches, including tilts against the English and Scottish national teams.
Earlier this week, Loyola Head Coach Charley Toomey announced the addition of four more players who will join the Greyhounds class of 2013, upping the total to 11. Last season Loyola went 9-5 and clinched a share of its second straight ECAC title.
